The Consecrated Life | Effective Date: 1970

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Consecrated Life, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all of the terms, please do not use the application. These terms form a binding agreement between you and The Consecrated Life.

2. App Purpose & Faith Disclaimer

The Consecrated Life is a faith-based discipleship tool designed to support spiritual growth and personal transformation. It is a companion on your journey — not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or pastoral counseling. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek professional help immediately. The content in this app is for spiritual encouragement and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or or replace any licensed professional care.

3. Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Refunds are handled at our discretion and in accordance with Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card data on our servers.

4. Content Ownership

All workbook content, daily teachings, prayers, scripture selections, and curated materials are the property of The Consecrated Life and are protected by copyright law. All rights reserved. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from app content without prior written permission.

5. User Content

Journal entries, prayer logs, and personal reflections that you create within the app remain your property. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content within the app solely for your personal use. We will never use your content for marketing, research, or any purpose outside of serving your account.

6. Accountability Partner Agreement

When connecting with an accountability partner, both users agree to engage with mutual respect, confidentiality, and Christian integrity. We are not responsible for the conduct of individual users within the accountability system. If you experience abuse or inappropriate behavior, please contact us immediately.

7. Community Guidelines

Users of community features (when available) must engage with grace, truth, and respect. Harassment, explicit content, hate speech, or behavior contrary to the app's faith-based values will result in immediate account termination. We reserve the right to remove any content or user that violates these standards.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Consecrated Life, its owners, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Your use of the app is at your own risk. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the 90-day program.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
